An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong and inspirational leader to become part of Bishop’s Primary School.  Under the leadership of the Head of Campus, and in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure high standards for all pupils on the campus. You will be required to support the curriculum, raise aspirations and set high standards for staff, pupils and parents alike.

Bishop’s Primary School within Northumberland Church of England Academy Trust consists of five primary campuses and three early years centres.  This post will be based within one of the 1 form primary campuses.

Are you an inspirational PE teacher who is looking for an opportunity to work in an exciting and innovative department within a collaborative and ambitious school?  If so, this is an excellent opportunity for you to join this forward-looking Church of England secondary school in south-east Northumberland, where you will be supported to develop your career at the same time as making a difference to the lives of our pupils and community.

We are looking to appoint a full-time, enthusiastic PE Teacher to teach Physical Education predominantly to boys. The ability to teach a second subject is also desirable.  The successful candidate may also be required to teach KS5 students.

This position is an excellent opportunity for newly or recently qualified teachers.  The successful candidate will be able to join a team of PE teachers that are passionate about their subject areas and working with students in this essential part of our curriculum.

You will make a great addition to the team if you are committed to delivering the best teaching, learning and assessment opportunities for our students and are capable of inspiring and motivating others through your passion for Physical Education.    The successful candidate will demonstrate that they are capable of delivering consistently excellent classroom teaching and learning, and that they are energetic, enthusiastic, creative and resilient.  A knowledge of current educational thinking and strategies to raise attainment is expected, and the sufficient knowledge/relevant skills to teach to GCSE level.  You must also have the ability to teach KS5.
