The first people ever to be photographed…Probably!

by Rob on Sep.29, 2009, under Reference

Paris, 1839. Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre photographed a shoe shine boy and his customer, these were the first people ever to be photographed! No-one else  was captured in the image as they were all moving and the long exposure required at the time only captured the two stationary people, making them famous without them even being aware that they were helping to make history.
