NCEA Photography Club

We have changed the day that we meet, we will now meet on a WEDNESDAY at 3:30pm in Room 25 at the Josephine Butler Secondary Campus.

The qualification that will be available is BTEC Photography not GCSE as previously stated.

We will meet at the Josephine Butler Secondary Campus at 3:30pm in Room 25 on Thursdays (Excluding Holidays)

Academy Photography club begins on Thursday 8th Oct
in room 25 at 3:30pm.
This is open to anybody who has an interest in Photography or wishes to learn more about this art form.
The club will hold termly photography exhibtions and support members in developing their skills. 
We have state of the art equipment and intend to offer a number of tutorials and projects weekly.
You will also learn how to manipulate your photographs and we will be offering a GCSE qualification in photography.

Great news, Eddie and I have acquired two Canon DSLR cameras, a printer and accessories for the club with the help of PC World who gave us a great discount which has helped get us started.

We have made a decision on the time and day that the club will meet, it will be a Thursday between 3:30-4:30pm.

I will post regular updates to keep everyone at the academy informed and remember, everyone is welcome! Both Eddie and I want to make this a big successs and help everyone to appreciate the joys and rewards of photography, once we get on our way we will be running competitions for all age groups and staff too.
