Duke’s Secondary School has an exciting and rare opportunity to appoint a Head of Year who will work under the guidance of the Assistant Principal and within an agreed system of supervision, to create a climate within the year group which enables ‘teachers to teach’ and ‘learners to learn’.

An opportunity has arisen here at NCEA Trust for a Purchase Ledger/Finance Clerk to join our very busy Finance Team.

You will work in a fast paced environment in a high volume transaction department.  Undertaking all aspects of financial processing, cash handling and maintenance of financial records and supporting with the creation and administration of the facilities budget.

Candidates should be a person of integrity and be able to maintain confidentiality while remaining impartial. You should have a good eye for detail, be of a resilient nature and be able to remain positive in challenging circumstances. You will have the ability to use excel to a high level.

Castle  School, within NCEA Trust caters for 110 students aged between 2 – 19 years with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties (including autism) with a catchment area stretching across south east Northumberland.

We are looking for a number of full time enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff.  We are looking for people who will enjoy being effective in supporting students with complex needs and who have an appreciation of the positive attitude required to encourage independence in our students.

Contract: Initially a 6 month fixed term contract.
Hours:  20 hours per week on a four day on/four day off rota (evenings and some weekends).
Salary: Band 2 – £9.62 per hour.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Assistant here at Northumberland Church of England Academy Trust.

In this busy role you will be the first point of contact and provide an effective, efficient and customer focused lettings service to the hirers of our facilities.

You will ensure hirers are following guidelines/procedures and you will be responsible for the locking/unlocking and ensuring the security of the premises as well as monitoring visitors to ensure fire safety.

This role can be demanding, therefore we are looking for a resilient person who has experience of working closely with customers, has excellent communication and customer service skills and someone who is approachable, friendly and confident in dealing with queries.
