At NCEAT, the safety of our pupils and staff is our topmost priority. From the earliest days of the pandemic, we have implemented robust safety measures at all of our schools and campuses in compliance with our Covid-19 risk assessment to ensure that our pupils and staff are protected while in school.

To reassure parents/carers that every precaution is being taken to protect them from the virus, please see below a reminder of all of our safety measures and procedures:

  • 2 metre social distancing in all classrooms, corridors, social and outdoor spaces
  • Handwashing and/or sanitising facilities at every entrance and exit point and at strategic locations around school
  • Established class ‘bubbles’ to limit contact between households
  • Mandatory use of masks and face coverings for all staff and secondary pupils (above Year 7) while moving around school or between campuses
  • Staggered drop-off and collection times for parents/carers at the start and end of the school day – limited to one parent per child(ren)
  • Staggered lunch sittings
  • Thorough cleaning of social/dining spaces between sittings
  • Deep cleaning sessions as and when required
