Are you an experienced Health & Safety leader ready for a new challenge within a growing Multi Academy Trust? Do you have the skills to ensure compliance, safety, and operational excellence across a diverse educational estate?
The Trust is looking for a proactive Director of Health, Safety and Estates to provide strategic and operational leadership across all Trust sites. This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the long and short term planning, implementation and delivery of health and safety services across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead estates strategy in line with Good Estate Management for Schools (GEMS)
- Oversee all statutory compliance and risk management across multiple sites
- Manage planned preventative and responsive maintenance programmes
- Lead the Trust’s Health & Safety policy, audits and compliance systems
- Line manage premises and facilities teams across all sites
- Hold and manage premises and estates budgets
- Provide high-level reporting and assurance to senior leaders and Trustees
This is a visible and influential role requiring strong leadership, sound judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships with headteachers, contractors, external agencies and the executive leadership team.
