The Trust are currently looking for a number of cleaners to join an experienced team at Josephine Butler site, and help maintain the standard of the schools. The successful candidates will be committed, friendly, and able to work both independently and as part of a team to support the daily running’s of the school.

Hours Available

  • 10 or 16 hours per week, term time plus 9 additional days
  • 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 15 additional days

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • General cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting and tidying.
  • Safe use of cleaning equipment in line with Health and Safety regulations such as COSHH.
  • Attend any necessary training sessions as and when required.
  • Opening and closing the premises if required, ensuring that the security of the building has not been compromised.
  • Ensure that the cleaning stock is managed effectively and any cleaning materials are ordered when necessary.
  • Work well individually and as part of a team to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained within the school.
