Duke’s Secondary School are seeking reliable and responsible Exam Invigilators to join the team and support the smooth running of exams throughout the academic year.
This is a flexible role ideal for individuals who are organised, attentive to detail and able to maintain a calm and professional environment for students during exams. Work is offered on a casual basis during internal assessments and the main exam periods.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring that exams are conducted in accordance with examination board regulations and school procedures. You will help create a quiet, fair and supportive environment where students can perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students during examinations, ensuring exam regulations are followed
- Prepare examination rooms, including setting out papers and equipment
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
- Ensure a calm and quiet environment throughout the exam
- Respond to student queries in line with exam regulations
- Report any irregularities or incidents during examinations
- Assist with the safe collection and return of exam materials
