Are you an organised and proactive facilities professional with experience in maintenance coordination and statutory compliance? Do you want to play a vital role in helping ensure the safety of different learning environments for children and young people?

We have a unique opportunity for a Responsive Maintenance Coordinator to join our estates team and help ensure our schools remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.

You will work closely with headteachers, caretakers, contractors, and the central Trust team to prioritise issues, manage records and support statutory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track responsive maintenance across multiple sites
  • Act as the first point of contact for reactive maintenance requests
  • Obtain and review quotes, raise purchase orders, and monitor works to completion
  • Ensure contractors meet statutory and Trust compliance requirements
  • Support health & safety audits (e.g. fire risk assessments, legionella, H&S audits)
  • Assist with statutory compliance processes and risk assessments
  • Attend site visits and caretaker meetings
