The Trust is seeking a proactive and reliable Site Supervisor to lead our caretaking team at Josephine Butler Campus and support the delivery of an efficient site and lettings service.
This is a key role within our facilities team, ensuring that our school environment is safe, compliant, and well-maintained for students, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the caretaking team, including performance management and regular one to ones
- Support the lettings team to ensure smooth out of hours operations
- Monitor caretaking activities to ensure compliance with Trust policies and school routines
- Oversee health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and statutory checks
- Ensure fire alarms, safety systems and site monitoring processes are completed and recorded
- Respond to emergency and out of hours call outs where required
- Carry out minor repairs and coordinate reporting of maintenance issues
- Liaise closely with Headteachers and the Director of Health & Safety & Estates
- Maintain accurate records of compliance, monitoring and incidents
You will play a central role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, and heating systems, and in maintaining the security of the school site.
