Salary: Band 1, £11.59 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days

There is an exciting opportunity within the Trust as we are looking for catering assistants to join our busy catering team and support with the service of meals and refreshments at our Josephine Butler site.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain more experience in a catering environment where they are valued and supported by an experienced team.

There are both permanent and fixed term contracts available for this position.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the general preparation, cooking and service of food and drinks.
  • Preparing and storing food correctly to ensure that health and safety standards are followed.
  • General kitchen duties such as washing up, cleaning surfaces and putting equipment away after it has been used.
  • Packing meals and refreshments for transport to other locations where necessary, such as school trips or training days.
  • Assisting with setting up the dining area when necessary.
