With an in-house Payroll and Pensions specialist nested between our Finance and HR provision, at the NCEA Trust, we can offer you the care and attention your staffs’ pay deserves. We understand the difference that having an effective payroll system in place can make to your staff and your organisation which is why we offer this service as standard to all schools within the Trust.

Payroll and Pensions specialist responsibilities:

  • Issuing payment cut-off date reminders
  • Checking and authorising all routine claims and inputting details into relevant software systems
  • Reviewing and validating TLRs, first aid payments, leave of absence deductions, special leave and and sickness
  • Production and filing of gender pay gap report
  • Updating central systems for staff leavers and salary changes, including one-off and annual uplifts as appropriate, including letters to employees, other contractual changes and service updates
  • Responding to LPGS queries as received
  • Creating and advising on pay scales for leadership roles in line with already existing pay scales and TLRs
